Fellow citizens of Southern Maine,
I am honored to be currently serving in my second term as the President of the Greater Portland Council of Governments (GPCOG). As an elected official in my second term on the Cape Elizabeth Town Council, I am able to hold this unique regional leadership position. Regional collaboration and cooperation between the twenty-eight communities that constitute GPCOG have provided for increased efficiency and progress in the areas of economic development, clean alternative energy, transportation, land use planning, and recycling. As President, I am proud to be leading GPCOG in further development of these initiatives.
Betsy, my wife of 25 years, and I raised our three children in Southern Maine. Each graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School, and now all three are serving on active duty in our military. I invite you to browse my website so you can learn more about me, my priorities, and the initiatives I have taken up to ensure that our coummities remain strong in southern Maine. Please feel free to contact me with questions, comments, or concerns about our town and region.
Sincerely,
Paul J. McKenney
